Flare Lens
L2Optics Flare lens has been designed for use with all Lumileds’
Luxeon Emitters.
The illumination pattern is horizontally very wide, but vertically
extremely narrow. It suits well for e.g. devices where a 360°
illumination pattern is needed.
LED type, chip type and colour has an effect on illumination pattern,
e.g., non-white LEDs give a narrower distribution. If you need more
exact data on the issue, please contact L2Optics for advice. |
The lens is made of optical grade PMMA (acrylics) to ensure excellent
optical properties as well as long-term material stability and durability.
L2Optics Flare lenses are assembled directly on PCB without any
additional holder. For positioning, please look at the drawing below.
